If you can’t get into an exam, it’s usually because of the test’s schedule or status — set by your teacher — rather than a problem with your link.

”This exam is not available yet”

Your teacher set an open time that hasn’t arrived. You’ll see:
“This exam is not available yet. It opens at .”
Come back during the window your teacher set.

”This exam is now closed”

The exam’s close time has passed:
“This exam is now closed. It closed at .”
If you believe it closed too early, contact your teacher.

The test was archived

If your teacher archived the test, you’ll see an archived notice (for example, “This test has been archived by your teacher…”). No new sessions can start on an archived test. Contact your teacher if you think this is a mistake.

I accidentally closed the tab

Reopen the same link in the same browser. Proctorly usually resumes you where you left off rather than restarting the flow.
Resume works within the same browser tab/session. If you switch to a different browser or device, you may not pick up where you left off.

My teacher paused or locked me

  • Paused is a normal break — you can’t answer, but it’s fine. Wait for your teacher to resume you. Don’t close the tab.
  • Locked means you can’t interact until your teacher unlocks you.
Neither one, by itself, means you’re in trouble. See Taking an exam.
Proctorly support can’t see or change a specific test. For anything about availability, scheduling, or access, contact your teacher.
